The Big Picture- התמונה הגדולה

האם אפשרי לנו לראות התמונה הגדולה האמתית בעולמנו?

כמה שזה נשמע מתסכל, נראה לי שפשוט בלתי אפשרי לאיש מאתנו, בלי יוצא מן הכלל, לראות את כל התמונה בכללותה ואני מתייחס לתקופה מימי בראשית עד הגאולה השלמה. מדוע העניין כל כך בלתי אפשרי? כי להגיע לכדי כך, צריך לראות את העולם בעיני בורא עולם.

האם זה אי פעם קרה? האם אי פעם מישהו אמר, "אני יכול לראות את הכול. אני יודע, בלי צל של ספק, בדיוק מה אלוהים רוצה ומצפה ממני.” ?

כשאני לומד וחושב על הסיפור מהתורה בו ירדו בני ישראל למצרים, מעשה שקרה ללא שום סיבה של עונש או חטא, אני שואל את עצמי למה הוא שלח אותנו לשם? ולאחר שבדקתי את מקור העניין, מצאתי שהקב"ה מבטיח לאברהם אבינו "כי גר יהיה זרעך בארץ לא להם ועבדום ועינו אותם ארבע מאות שנה.”

כשבודקים את ההבטחה האלוהית אנחנו רואים שיש לה הקדמה עם המילים "ידוע תדע כי גר יהיה זרעך....”

רק לאברהם אבינו היה את הידע לראות את כל התמונה, מההתחלה עד הסוף, בעיני האלוהים. גם אם בטוח והוא לא ראה את התמונה כולה במדרגה ההיא, מתבקש היה לפחות להתחיל להתפלל ולהתחנן בשביל הילדים שלו, בשבילנו, עם ישראל, ולבקש שלא נצא אל הנסיעה ההיא ל6000 שנה. אבל דרך עיני ה' הוא הבין שהתפקיד שלנו בעולם לכל השנים ההם הוא לסבול ולהפוך מנהיגים לכל העולם כולו.

שנזכה למלא את תפקידינו בכבוד הבריאות ואהבה גדולה.

Is it possible for us to see the true big picture of what is going on in our world?

Frustrating as it might sound, it seems to be an impossibility for any person to see the whole picture. I am talking about from the beginning of creation to redemption times. In order to do that you need to be able to see the world through the eyes of The Creator.

Has that ever happened? Has anyone ever said, "I can see it all .I can tell you definitively that this is what GOD wants of me." ?

When studying and thinking about the children of Israel entering Mitzraim, for no apparent negative or punitive reason, I have to wonder, why were we sent there?

When going to the source of the issue, we find GOD promising Avraham Avinu, our father, that "your children will be strangers in a land that is not theirs where they will be enslaved and afflicted, 400 years".

As you examine this divine promise a bit closer you notice that the promise is introduced by the words "You should have very exact and clear knowledge, that your children will be strangers........"

Who can posses such divine knowledge to see the whole picture through the eyes of The Creator?

Only Avraham Avinu. Because in order for him to unequivicably accept such a deal with GOD he had to be able to see the whole picture from the beginning of creation to the time of redemption. If not so, who would not begin to pray like crazy in defense of his children who seemingly did nothing to deserve this punishment; unless of course they were being given a very specific and important role in the world's big picture which required them to carry some burden for the entire world community.

May we be blessed to do fulfill our role with great honor for all of GOD's creations and with great love.
